KRISTEN McCORMICK, CMCA, AMS, PCAM – Agynbyte’s Chief Executive Officer, Kristen has been an industry trailblazer since 2005. She began her career in Florida as a state-licensed community association manager before quickly advancing to a regional leadership position. Kristen was then brought on to serve as general manager of a luxury high-rise, partnering with the board and their team of employees to refine the community’s record-keeping, budget, and preventative maintenance strategies.

As a developer liaison in North and South Carolina, she drafted responsible budgets as the infrastructure evolved and amenities increased. She successfully bridged the relationship between this developer and homeowners, ensuring a smooth transition and an empowered volunteer board of directors. Kristen also took on the management of high-end clientele properties comprised exclusively of historic buildings in Massachusetts, and worked with the City of Boston’s landmarks commission to coordinate necessary capital improvements while maintaining the buildings’ architectural integrity.

Placing a high value on industry collaboration, manager education, and board member engagement, Kristen serves on the Board of Directors for the Washington State chapter of Community Associations Institute (WSCAI), is Chair of WSCAI’s Managers Only Meeting Committee, and a member of WSCAI’s DEI Task Force. She additionally participates in industry presentations focused on board member and manager training.

MELISSA SCHNEIDER, CMCA, AMS – Agynbyte’s President, Melissa oversees the company’s operations. Melissa has been working in the community association management industry for over 11 years, managing extensive client portfolios and large-scale developments. Prior to joining the industry, she served on her condo association’s board of directors. Melissa has extensive experience working with domestic water systems. She managed a major water system upgrade for a community with a domestic water system serving over 850 homes, and collaborated on a Water System Plan with the State Department of Health. Melissa’s colleagues and clients value her no-nonsense approach to management and her ability to find creative solutions to problems impacting associations. She grew up in the Puget Sound area of Washington State. When not working at one of the fastest growing management companies in the Pacific Northwest, Melissa can be found spending time with family and crafting or making candles.

BRIAN P. McLEAN, CCAL – Agynbyte’s co-founder, and a veteran attorney of community associations since 1995, Brian has worked with over 800 community associations, advocated on behalf of community associations and their owners at the State Legislature, and spoken and written frequently on a broad number of community association topics. Brian is a former board member and president of the Washington Chapter of Community Associations Institute (wscai.org), former co-chair of Washington State’s CAI Legislative Action Committee, and a member of the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL). Brian has a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law.
